Electrical

OneViewPro for electricians

Electrical work is searched for job by job: a panel upgrade, an EV charger, a generator, outlets that suddenly stopped working. Each is its own search with its own set of competitors. This makes sure your profile says clearly what you do, and shows you which of those searches you're actually winning.

How customers find electricians on Google

People search for the problem or the upgrade, not the trade: 'EV charger installation', 'electrical panel upgrade', 'whole house generator', 'outlets not working'. A profile that lists 'electrical services' and nothing more gives Google very little reason to show it for any of them.

Homeowners are wary of electrical work in a way they aren't of, say, painting. They look for signs of a real, established business: a complete profile, clearly listed services, and reviews that say the work was safe and the site was left clean.

Commercial and residential searches often bring up different competitors. Tracking both kinds of keyword separately shows which market you're stronger in.

What matters most here

Profile optimization

The audit checks how many services your profile lists and whether the description says what you do. Service descriptions are only written for services you've confirmed, so an EV charger entry won't appear unless you actually install them.

Rank tracking

With up to ten keywords you can follow the individual jobs, panel upgrades, generators, chargers, and see which ones you rank for across your area and which go to someone else.

Review management

Reviews that mention tidy, safe work are what a cautious homeowner is hunting for. Each one gets a reply drafted, and a critical one waits for you.

Reporting

Watch calls and website clicks from your profile month against month, and see whether they rise after new services go onto your profile.

Also working on your profile: Google Business posts, Photo publishing, Competitor tracking and the assistant. Agencies also get white label and client dashboards.

What changes over the first few months

The first month's audit shows where the profile is thin, and for an electrician the service list is usually the part worth fixing first. Once it's confirmed and approved, the profile describes your real range of work.

Over two or three months, posts about individual jobs and a growing photo library make the profile read like a working business. The rank maps show whether the specific searches, not just 'electrician', begin to appear across more of your area.

Questions from electricians

Will it say I'm licensed and insured?

Not on its own. It deliberately won't switch on licensing or similar attributes for you, because those are claims only you can make. If your current description already says so, a rewrite has to keep it.

Can I track commercial and residential work separately?

Yes. They're separate keywords, so 'commercial electrician' can sit next to 'panel upgrade' and you can see how each does across your area.

What happens when I start offering something new, like EV chargers?

Once it's on your confirmed service list it can be added to your profile with a short description, and posts can begin to mention it.

Will it keep my emergency hours right?

If your profile has no hours, it fills in the ones from your setup. If hours are already there it leaves them alone, and tells you whenever they change on Google.
