Client dashboards

Instead of emailing screenshots, give each client a login. They see their own business in the real product, their rankings, their competitors, what's been published for them, and you decide which screens they get and whether they can change anything.

What it does

Each client login is set screen by screen: hidden, view-only, or allowed to make changes. Out of the box a client can work in their Dashboard and can view their business details, content, reviews, reports, competition and images. Automation, billing, users, white label and other settings stay hidden.

Because approving content lives on the Dashboard, a client with the default permissions can approve or reject what's written for them. If you'd rather approve everything yourself, make their Dashboard view-only and they're told that their account manager handles approvals.

A client login can be limited to particular businesses or given every business, now and in future. Your own team gets staff logins that see every business, and administrators decide who has access to what.

Why it matters

'What am I paying you for?' is the question that loses agency clients. A login where they can watch the rank map change and the posts going out answers it every day, without a monthly call.

It takes approvals off your desk as well. A client who wants to read every post can do it themselves, without an email thread for each one.

How it works

  1. Invite the client

Add a user, choose 'A client', pick their businesses and send the invite. They sign in from your branded login screen.

  2. Set what they see

Each of the fourteen screens is set to hidden, view or edit for that login.

  3. They check in when they like

The client sees their own results. The work carries on whether or not they ever log in.

  4. Adjust whenever you need to

Change their permissions, resend the invite, or disable the login at any time.

What your team does

Decide who approves. Leave approvals with the client, or keep them with your team by making the client's Dashboard view-only.

Send the invites and manage the logins. Clients can't sign themselves up; every login starts with an invite from you.

Where it stops

  • Clients can't create accounts or add colleagues. Only your administrators manage logins.
  • Client logins never see billing. Your arrangement with each client stays between the two of you.
  • Staff logins see every business in your account. You can't limit a member of your team to certain clients.
  • There's no separate cut-down client app. Clients use the same product your team does, shaped by the screens you hide.

Questions about client dashboards

What does a client see when they sign in?

Their own business in the product: by default the Dashboard, their business details, content, reviews, reports, competition and images. You can hide any of those, or let them make changes.

Can a client approve their own posts?

Yes, by default. Approving happens on the Dashboard, so a client who can edit their Dashboard can approve or reject. Make it view-only and approvals stay with your team.

Can one client see another client's business?

No. A client login only reaches the businesses you assign to it.

What happens when I disable a login?

That person can no longer get in. You can switch the login back on later, and the work on their business continues either way.

Can an owner and their office manager each have a login?

Yes. Each person gets a login of their own, with permissions of their own.
